Val
Thorens, France

Simply put, Val Thorens remains the top
destination for European skiers. The resort has been voted best in Europe 4
years running and voted as the best resort in the world.1 The snow
is dependable and the infrastrure is impeccable. Any visit to Val Thorens will
be enjoyable.

Livigno,
Italy

Next on our list is a more budget and
secluded destination. As well as great skiing, Livigno also has a special tax
status making it more affordable than most destinations. Known as little Tibet
this spot has a long season lasting from November through to the end of May.

Chamonix,
France

Chamonix is the pilgrimage of Ski
Instructors and mountain guides as they look to qualify. “Le grand ski” does
have slopes for beginners and intermediates but the advanced skiers flock here
to tick it off the bucket list. A wonderful destination but not for the faint
hearted.

Val
d’Isère, France

This is where us Brits get our
winter-sports fix, in fact more of us visit Val d’Isère every year than
anywhere else in the world – and with good reason. Both the skiing and the
après-ski add up to what is the ideal ski resort. Linked to nearby Tignes to
form a ski area of 300km of pistes and 94 lifts, the French resort offers high
quality, snow-sure slopes for everyone from complete beginner to the adrenaline
junkie.

Verbier,
Switzerland

A longstanding clientele of sporty,
youthful skiers, Verbier is the main resort in Switzerland’s largest Ski Area,
the 4 valleys. Around 100 lifts access 400km of pistes including the best lift
served off piste in the Alpes.
