My my years in high school, where I

My interest in civil society dates back to my years in high school, where I enrolled in many students’ activity and was inspired by how they work together in harmony. When I began my undergraduate career as a dental student, I had the opportunity to be exposed to a full range of civil work, all of which tended to reinforce and solidify my intense interest to civil society, I have had the opportunity to enroll on number of civil works as a participant, capacity building member, human resources member… etc. and they have been both enjoyable and enlightening, providing me with different perspective on the world in which we live.Being a capacity building member, I learned practically the process of developing and strengthening the skills of others and how by small activities can I expand the performance of the whole organization. As a Human resources and development committee member and as a Talent management member, I became able to help the participants determining the needs and how to fill in these needs and develop their own skills and abilities and give them motivation. As a dental student, while the idea to care for others is appealing to me, Dentistry and finding remedies to dental complexities fascinates me even more. When looking at my own experiences with civic engagement, I feel that my interaction to community influences me as a person each time.I expect to learn more about civic engagement in the program, as communication with others influences my skills the most. And I expect to acknowledge more about the history of civil work and how the civil society changed the history of the U.S and the rest of the world. I expect to learn more about how civil societies and their units are managed. And this will definitely influence my career and my interest to civil. And I wish to have a chance to work in professional environment as this program so that I can influence the civil society here in my countryI also expect to improve my English communication skills, and this affects me personally and in my career. And I like to share with Americans the Egyptian culture, language, customs and etiquette. I hope you will give me the privilege of joining the civic engagement program.
